I am slightly mad in that I am unable to focus on one book at a time, so I generally have a few near completion and others that are work in progress or just forming in my head. I jot down ideas as they come up and then work on them from there.
Published and Work in progress
I like to work on multiple projects at once, I will work on one and then move on to another, sometimes may be a year or two before I cycle back around, I map out my book to keep me on track with it. So I detail the min character and then details about them, how the sounds, what they look like. I then break the book into sections and what I want to achieve at the end of each section. I have side arrows coming off introducing new characters or one off events that lend to the story. That way it keeps me sort of on track.
WIP - A dystopian political thriller, the public have had enough and take matters into their own hands. Set a couple years after COVID it explores the waste of PPE contracts and the public backlash.
WIP - Set in the 1980's pre internet adventure of a group of teens living in a little village, no hugely dissimilar to my own upbringing.
WIP - This will be a 7/8 book series following the life of George from his slum heritage to being a feared pirate captain.
WIP - This is a sci-fi romance type book. A couple meets and sometimes they feel they have met before, sometimes only one of them does. In truth they have been through this scenario thousands of times before.
